Brief: The brief for this project was to first and foremost create two fully functional bathrooms out of an existing bathroom and laundry space. The clients recently purchased the property, and we were engaged to remodel the layout to suit their growing family’s needs. They wanted the design to stay in keeping with the older style of the home, but they wanted a modern edge incorporated. One of the key requests was to include a feature freestanding bath in the ensuite. Given the dimensions of the space, we have implemented a wet area for the shower and bath area to maximise use of the space. There is an impressive feature chevron tiled wall, which creates a luxurious feel as you enter the ensuite. The colour palette includes hints of black against the white and shades of grey create a modern touch through the weatherboard home. The kitchen space was also completely updated, providing greater function, clever storage, and an elegant timeless design.
