After graduating from RMIT University with a degree in Construction Management, Illan took the exciting step of partnering with his father, Greg, to establish GIA Bathrooms & Kitchens. This dynamic collaboration allowed Illan to leverage his expertise and passion for the industry while working alongside a seasoned professional.
With each passing year, Illan has diligently pursued opportunities to enhance his knowledge and stay at the forefront of bathroom and kitchen trends and products. His continuous learning and dedication have solidified his reputation as a trusted professional, known for his unwavering commitment to excellence and his ability to exceed clients’ expectations.
Illan’s creative flair and infectious enthusiasm shine through in every project he undertakes. Greg Elberg
Greg is a Registered Building Practitioner with the Victorian Building Authority. With over thirty years of industry experience, his profound knowledge and extensive expertise supports the company in renovating homes to the highest standard. Greg’s work predominately involves project management, as well as overseeing quality control throughout the renovation process. Greg’s experience ensures that all aspects of the renovation process from concept to completion are carried out to the highest standard.

Olivia Cirocco
As a Bachelor of Interior Architecture graduate of The University of South Australia, Olivia has gained extensive experience in the field. In addition to developing critical analysis skills, Olivia learned how to implement creative, environmentally and socially sustainable settings. Using these techniques she has since enjoyed specialising as a bathroom and kitchen designer.
Since moving to Melbourne in 2015, Olivia has designed many stunning transformations for GIA Bathrooms and Kitchens. At the end of a renovation, Olivia is genuinely pleased to see a client who is genuinely pleased with the outcome. The best part of her job is providing a beautifully crafted, fully functional, custom interior, while being present throughout the entire process.

James Scully
James studied Property at RMIT University where he learnt the fundamentals of construction and project management. Over the last twelve years he’s spent time working on both commercial and residential projects, working closely with all trades to gain valuable knowledge in all aspects of construction whilst honing in the skills he studied at RMIT. This has built a solid foundation for James to work with and allows him to better manage the various trades through the construction process. James prides himself on his attention to detail which is evident in the finished product of projects he’s involved with.

Sam Street
Sam is a qualified carpenter that has been working in the construction industry for the past thirteen years, both in Australia and abroad. With over a decade of experience, Sam has gained an extensive knowledge of the residential construction space. His attention to detail and passion for construction has led him to manage a variety of projects, from architectural new builds to complete home renovations. Sam understands the importance of keeping clients informed and most of all, as excited about their project as he is. He enjoys meeting and liaising with clients on site throughout the project, always ensuring trades are working efficiently and effectively. This is yet another important aspect within a seamless renovation- one that compliments GIA’s value of providing the highest standard of customer service, workmanship and support in all stages of the renovation process. Carmel Wylie
Carmel has been designing bathroom and kitchens for over 15 years. During this time, she has won numerous awards for her excellent design work. Carmel’s success is largely due to her ability to understand her clients needs, and deliver tailored designs for them. She is always searching for ways to push the boundaries of an existing space, and to find beautiful custom fittings to decorate them. Carmel’s extensive knowledge of the latest kitchen and bathroom products, as well as her expertise with spatial and storage solutions, ensures all of her clients receive bespoke rooms that they can enjoy for years to come.

Georgette has a passion for working closely with clients to understand and design bespoke spaces, starting from the overall vision down to every texture, colour and curve. Each detail has a purpose when creating functional and evocative designs. Georgette completed her postgraduate Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Design (Architectural Studies) at the Queensland University of Technology. Since completing university, Georgette has worked on a range of residential and commercial projects, where she gained experience planning, designing, and realising awe-inspiring spaces.

Angela Gardiner
Angela is the team member that welcomes you through the doors at the GIA showroom, with a big smile of course. Angela completed a Diploma of Interior Design while continuing to work in the customer service area. This sparked an ongoing love for learning, in particular around design & architecture. She then commenced a Bachelor of Interior Architecture, for which she is nearing completion.
Angela loves working around the design & construction industry, and has been able to bring this, together with her customer service experience, to the role.
Pet: Cairn Terrier (Beau)
With 3 kids, work & study there isn’t much time for hobbies, however she enjoys taking the time to read when she can. Especially snuggled up with her Cairn Terrior, Beau.


Olha Oldac
After completing Bachelors and Masters of Civil Engineering in her home country Ukraine, Olha went on to work for construction companies on multi-residential and commercial projects as a site engineer. After moving to Australia, she pursued her dream and passion for interior design and completed a Diploma in Interior design and decoration at RMIT. Being detail-oriented and a problem solver, Olha loves being part of the design process. Olha’s strengths reside in her technical knowledge of how building components work together, which helps her creating comprehensive technical design documentation.

Ronald Macfarlane
With a foundation rooted in craftsmanship and a passion for the industry, Ron has devoted over 37 years to the world of woodworking and construction. Beginning as an apprentice cabinet maker, Ron steadily advanced his career, taking on roles as a factory foreman, operations manager, and eventually evolving into a skilled bespoke designer and building inspector.
Throughout Rons career, he has been driven by a commitment to excellence. Ron assists the operations team to ensure that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Ron is committed to delivering exceptional results and ensuring that every project we undertake reflects the utmost quality and professionalism.

Introducing Cooper, our beloved office dog and the esteemed Head of Wellness. Cooper, the charismatic 2-year-old Labradoodle, has stolen the hearts of everyone in our workplace with his infectious charm and unwavering appetite for spreading joy.
As the official Head of Wellness, Cooper takes his role very seriously. His mere presence brings an instant boost to the office atmosphere, with his wagging tail and cheerful demeanor creating an environment filled with positivity and happiness. Cooper has a remarkable talent for putting a smile on the faces of colleagues and visitors alike, instantly melting away stress and brightening even the busiest workdays.
One of Cooper’s many endearing qualities is his insatiable love for food. No treat or snack is safe from his watchful eyes and wagging tail. Cooper’s enthusiasm for culinary adventures is legendary, and his readiness to sample anyone’s food is a constant source of amusement and laughter.
