Brief: Our clients purchased this property, downsizing from their existing family home. The plan was to futureproof the entire house, reworking the space to ensure a functional, beautiful home that still suited their needs. We also needed to ensure the design was suitable for them to grow old comfortably together in, was soft in tone, and aesthetically pleasing. The home was a classic white brick cottage with the original kitchen and bathrooms, had non-functional storage throughout the home, and the kitchen was separated from the dining and living area with narrow doorways. The overall layout was not suitable for their needs. The ensuite was redesigned to become privately accessed from the master bedroom, with custom storage solutions. The main bathroom and laundry were reconfigured to suit with custom cabinetry to suit the new function of these spaces.
