Scope: Complete St Kilda East Home Renovation/Extension – Structural works, Kitchen, Bathroom, Ensuite Laundry, Windows, Timber Flooring & Painting.
Brief: Our client’s were looking to extend their home to meet the needs of their growing family. The home was a bungalow built in the 1920’s. The aim was to remain sympathetic to the style of the home, whilst incorporating a modern timeless design. The rear of the home was extended to create a large rectangular space, removing the original awkward shape of the building which was preventing functional flow throughout the home.
The kitchen area comprises of custom shaker doors, natural marble benchtops & splashbacks, integrated appliances and a feature steel leg to support the inbuilt dining area. Several large velux skylights have been installed, allowing the kitchen space to be filled with natural light. A beautiful marble clad gas fireplace has been incorporated within the joinery. The wet areas feature Italian terrazzo, natural marble, custom joinery and satin chrome tap ware. Although subtle, each space is impressive, with fine details throughout.
