Brief: The clients contacted GIA Bathrooms & Kitchens to take control of the design & construction to ease the stress of renovating. The brief was to refresh these dated rooms and bring improved function and smart storage to both areas. The bathroom had an entrance from the living room and master bedroom, so our proposal was to block off the living room entrance and convert the room to a private ensuite. This design now provides space for a large vanity with feature curved mirrors, robe storage, a freestanding bath and concealed toilet/shower area. The owners loved the injection of colour and opted for a peach subway tile to make a joyful colour backdrop for the white clawfoot bath. The laundry is the epitome of everyone’s laundry dream; full height white shaker joinery storing all the necessities. The low bench area comprises of a traditional butler sink great for hand washing or washing the family dog. This area is framed with peaceful blue tiling to the ceiling, bring a relaxing feel for the homeowners.
